VRMLI have been experimenting with creating VRML files of the maps produced by cMap. If you have the ability to display VRML, you can do your own fly-throughs of these three maps. They have been created from subsets of a patient record database supplied from BIOSIS. These maps have labels floating over the landscape. These labels are an attempt to identify the subject of the documents that have been clustered into that region of the map. If you have a VRML viewer, you can download a the following visualizations to look at. Just click on the image. If you don't have a VRML viewer, perhaps you can find one at www.vrml.org, where, in the Web Links section, you should be able to find links to a large number of VRML browsers for all types of operating systems.
